Erick Royer
Founding Director
Erick Royer has been in the CNC industry for over 15 years and has been running STEPCRAFT USA for the last 10. He has extensive experience with not only operating and selling CNC machines, but training customers who have never had any experience as well. He’s tried many different teaching methods over the years and found that Project-Based Learning is the most effective. This method of teaching goes back to the days of computer programming in the early 80’s where you would learn how to write a simple program that spelled “Hello World” on the computer screen. The instant gratification of seeing results right away ensured that students would stay motivated and want to keep learning. Stepcraft University works on this same principle - Project-Based Learning. Erick will teach you how to create useful projects that you can then customize, or even build a business around. During each project course, you will learn the basic fundamentals of CNC CAD/CAM and each project builds on the previous while adding new skill sets. His method of teaching will provide you with quick results so you can really open up a world of possibilities with your CNC system.

Greg has been the support manager at Stepcraft for the past 7 years. If you own or have ever run a Stepcraft CNC system, chances are you have worked directly with Greg!
Greg uses his background in education and university training in physics and computer science to ensure that every Stepcraft user has the tools and support they need to be successful in the world of CNC.
With thousands of hours spent working with Stepcraft users, Greg has been able to develop an easy to follow, targeted and successful training curriculum. He will be the first to tell you that using a CNC can be complicated, but with the right guidance you can create anything you can imagine!

Hugo with his multi-disciplinary knowledge will give an interesting point of view of things, adding this to his experience on programming and the Stepcraft products, along with the USA team he develops the Stepcraft screenset and macros that all of our customers use with UCCNC. Working with our customer support for the past 8 years and making training videos on YouTube you most likely know him by now, if you find something difficult to learn he will be the man to guide you.
